RISE Research, offered by Rise Global Education, states that its program costs between US$2,000 and US$2,500 in its own 2026 cost guide, checked on October 24, 2026. It describes the program as one-to-one mentorship with a PhD mentor. Confirm the final quote and terms directly before enrolling.
This guide concerns Rise Global Education's RISE Research. Programs with similar names may have different providers, eligibility rules and costs. Verify the organization and website before comparing a fee.
What the published fees cover
When checked on October 23, 2026, Rise's program page (since taken offline) described Standard as aiming at a research paper and Premium as aiming at publication in a high-school or college-level peer-reviewed journal. Both list mentor sessions, writing support and progress check-ins. These are the provider's descriptions; this article does not independently verify student outcomes or publication success.
A separate Rise pricing article describes pricing as customized, so request written confirmation of the scope and fee for the student's particular project. A public headline price is a starting point for comparison, not a substitute for the enrollment agreement.
Compare the format before the price
A one-to-one research project and a small finance cohort offer different kinds of support. A family should decide whether the student needs a mentor matched to a specific question, or a fixed sequence of sessions with a common research process. Compare the individual attention, independent workload and feedback on drafts.
For a student interested in finance, also ask whether the mentor can evaluate company disclosures, financial models and the assumptions behind a valuation. A university name alone does not establish fit for that question. Ask who will work with the student and which parts of the work that person will review.
GRF as a finance-focused alternative
Global Research Fellowship's Winter 2026 Research Desk costs US$1,000. It is a live online cohort of five high school Fellows, available to students worldwide. It focuses on company research, a valuation model and an individually authored 2,000–2,500-word report. Alex Dryden, a former J.P. Morgan senior economist, leads its six sessions. No financial aid or discounts are offered for this Research Desk cycle.
GRF also offers private research mentorship, listed at US$4,999 on its program overview when checked. Its schedule and project are arranged around a matched mentor, subject to availability. Confirm the current scope, tuition and terms directly. The lower cohort tuition does not make group and private support equivalent.
GRF does not guarantee college admission or acceptance by an external journal. Publication in GRF's own cohort collection is a student-work showcase, not external peer review. Compare outputs on that basis.
Questions to ask either provider
Who is the named mentor, and what experience fits this research question?
How many sessions are included, how long are they, and which are one-to-one?
Who gives written feedback, and how many rounds of revision are covered?
Are journal charges, additional sessions or timeline extensions included in the quote?
What happens if the project changes or an external journal rejects a submission?
What are the cancellation and refund terms before and after work starts?
What work must the student complete independently between meetings?
These are comparison questions, not claims that either provider charges an extra fee or has a particular refund policy. Obtain the answers in writing rather than making assumptions.
Which option fits a finance student?
A student who wants a fixed schedule and a company valuation project can examine the GRF Research Desk curriculum. A student with a specialized question should compare one-to-one options based on the actual mentor match and research plan. Read the GRF program comparison and FAQs before deciding.
